CDUK joins The Furniture Ombudsman
For 40 years CDUK has taken pride in distributing the premium and original solid surface, Corian® – and a significant aspect of this success story is the commitment of the family company to both quality and service. This ethos extends throughout a customer network of highly skilled fabrication and design partners to a concern for the satisfaction and rights of the end-user. For this reason, CDUK is honoured to become a member of The Furniture Ombudsman, a much-respected not-for-profit Alternative Dispute Resolution organisation.
Gary Baker, MD of CDUK says, “Renowned for its reliability, Corian® is highly valued for all the lasting benefits it brings to a design, whether commercial, public or residential. Similarly, CDUK has a reputation – established over two generations – that it is keen to maintain. Membership of this extensive organisation offers peace of mind to both suppliers and consumers, and we are committed to abiding by the organisation’s Code of Practice. This is in addition to, and does not affect, the meaningful and transferable 10 year limited warranty for Corian®.”
Kevin Grix, Chief Ombudsman and Chief Executive of The Furniture Ombudsman, says: “We aim to inspire consumer confidence and help raise industry standards, our ability to achieve this increases with each business that joins our scheme. It’s always pleasing when a business wishes to highlight their responsible business practices and we are delighted to welcome CDUK as an Industry Partner Member of The Furniture Ombudsman.”
